Jason Redman - Navy SEAL
LT Jason Redman joined the Navy on September 11, 1992 and spent 11 of his 21 years in the Navy, as an enlisted SEAL. He was commissioned in May of 2004 as a Naval SEAL Officer. In May of 2006, he graduated from US Army Ranger School and deployed to Fallujah, Iraq the following year.
On September 13th, 2007, while acting as Assault Force Commander to capture an Al Qaeda High Value Individual, LT Redman’s Assault Team came under heavy machine gun and small arms fire and he was severely wounded in the ensuing firefight. While in the hospital, he posted a sign outside his door that gained national attention for its inspirational message. President George W. Bush invited Jason to the White House after learning about the sign, and First Lady Michelle Obama featured the sign in her 2018 book.
Since recovering, he has committed to serving Veterans and is the best-selling author of The Trident: The Forging and Reforming of a Navy SEAL Leader and Overcome: Crush Adversity with the Leadership Techniques of America's Toughest Warriors. Today he puts his vast experience and expertise to work as speaker, coach, author and trainer, helping individuals, teams and organizations of all types and sizes to define and implement lasting change, even in the wake or face of failure, crisis and adversity.
